About Title Case

Most converters just capitalise the first letter of every word — which is wrong. In real title case, short function words stay lowercase unless they start or end the title. This tool capitalises the principal words and leaves articles (a, an, the), coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, nor) and short prepositions lowercase — while always capitalising the first and last word.

The two style presets differ mainly on prepositions: AP lowercases prepositions of three letters or fewer (in, on, to) but capitalises longer ones; Chicago lowercases all prepositions regardless of length. Words you type in ALL CAPS (like NASA or API) are kept as-is so acronyms survive.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored anywhere but this page.
