_branch_match_idSet by Branch, a deep-linking and attribution SDK many apps embed. When you tap a Branch link it drops _branch_match_id so a web click can be matched to a later app install or open (the "deferred deep link" flow). It's attribution plumbing for the app's marketing team; for ordinary web browsing it does nothing to the page.
Safe to remove? Yes. _branch_match_id is used for tracking and reporting only — deleting it does not change the page you land on. Strip it before sharing a link to keep it clean and private.
