gclsrcShort for Google Click Source. It rides along with gclid on Google Ads landing pages and records where the click originated — for instance aw.ds signals that both Google Ads and Display & Video 360 were involved. Google uses it to choose the correct conversion-tracking behaviour.
Safe to remove? Yes. gclsrc is used for tracking and reporting only — deleting it does not change the page you land on. Strip it before sharing a link to keep it clean and private.
